Does SnipTune upload my audio?
No. The selected audio is decoded and processed in your browser. Analytics records generic tool events, not your audio bytes or filename.
Which audio formats can I cut?
MP3, WAV, M4A/AAC, OGG and other formats your browser can decode. Output can be MP3 or WAV.
Does cutting reduce quality?
MP3 output is re-encoded, so there can be some quality loss. WAV output is uncompressed PCM.
Is there a file limit?
This first version is designed for ordinary audio files up to 100 MB. Very long files can use a lot of browser memory.
