Boost volume
The booster multiplies the audio signal by the gain you choose. When clipping protection is enabled, SnipTune reduces the final level if peaks would exceed the safe range.
Edit the moment. Keep the file local.
SnipTune is built around focused jobs: cut, join, boost, convert, and extract — without making an upload queue the default.

What does +6 dB mean?
Roughly speaking, +6 dB doubles signal amplitude before clipping protection is applied.
Why can clipping protection reduce the boost?
If the source is already near maximum level, a large boost would distort peaks. The protection scales the result back to prevent digital clipping.
Does this normalize loudness to a streaming standard?
No. This is a simple gain tool, not an LUFS loudness-normalization service.
